Blog Give Away!

I am curious about how effective blogging is. I enjoy it, and I enyjoy looking at others, but I want to know if it really works. So, to test this out I thought I would do a blog give away. If you have 10 comments on your session (on my blog)you will get a little accordion book to show off your family, designed around your session. Also, if someone books a session based on your referral to Cook Photography, you will receieve a calendar (again, designed around your session.) I am extremely excited about these new products, and I hope to give them away as often as I can!

I have been after the T family for quite awhile to take their picture. They are some of the truest people I have ever met. It was a wonderful afternoon, and I really pushed myself, so thank you T family for giving me the opprortunity! You guys are awesome!

"The Children Were Nestled all Snug In Their Beds...

While Visions of Sugar Plums Danced in Their Heads!"

This is one of those sessions that tests your ability as a photographer, and I loved every minute of it! The thoughts had been in place for over a year on how this should play out, and in my dreams I don't think it could have gone better. Thanks Mom for always being my biggest fan! I love you so much, and I had a GREAT time doing this for you. It was all around awesome!

Merry Christmas

What a wonderful Christmas it was this year. I finished working last weekend, and my family and I had such a great time enjoying the season. Between American Girls, and all the Transformers the elves can make, my children are set for years to come. I hope everyone had wonderful Holiday!
Love to all family and friends!

Getting Us All Together

How do you get high school seniors, and college students, and work to coordinate their schedules? I don't know how cute R did it, but it all came together to be an awesome family picture!!! I am so glad I was able to squeeze this family in this year. R and D are some of my favorite people, and growing up they always made me feel that I was special. And cousins, you are make me laugh, and I look forward to when we can all get together! I can't believe I was babysitting these four, (18 years ago!?) time really does fly. It was a really fun afternoon A family! Next year lets go for an adventure!

"Fall"ing in Love...A Perfect way to End the Autumn Season

This couple really did get some of the last leaves of the season. It was a beautiful time of year to be down at the Salt Lake Temple. When it comes to photographing temple weddings, one of my favorites is the Salt Lake Temple, but I have grown a little tired of the pictures on the stairs. Maybe because I don't care for confrontation, and sometimes you really have to fight to get your family parties on the stairs. So, after doing the C family on the stairs I have to say, they make those stairs look good! I love how the whole day turned out. D&L, you are wonderful, and I couldn't be more happy for you. I know it was a long day, Thank you for hanging out with me til the last minute. It was completely worth it!

Fall Family

Every once in a while a cute mom comes along and says I just don't think my kids are going to cooperate, and then we get images like these! This was an awesome family session, and we got adorable pictures of the children. It was a lot of fun to take A's family pictures, and I know it was hectic, but I LOVE how everything turned out. No worries J, your kids did great. I hope you have a great time in Disneyland!
