M A S H

The other day I got an email from my twelve year old niece. It was a great chain letter. Send it on to twenty people and you and your true love will be together forever. If you send it out to more than that, the crush that you have had on Mr. Right will prove to your advantage because he will ask you out, and so on and so on. I loved reading it. It took me back to when I was twelve and would play MASH over and over. For all the men reading this, and you have no idea what I am talking about, either ask your wife or daughter, they will know. If they don't, tell them Mansion, Apartment, Shack, or House. I am glad it never came true, mostly because I would have had to marry every boy in the fourth grade. YIKES!

A few evenings ago I took pictures of some of the girls in my neighborhood. We were working on a gift for their Mothers for Mother's Day, and I think their Mom's will be so proud. They are all so beautiful. It was a little crazy to walk around downtown with thirteen 8-12 years old, but we had a lot of fun. My favorite comment of the night was, "Wow, Heather, you really know what you are doing, you should be a real photographer." Oh how great to be ten and have my worries be that my MASH game will end up with me living in a shack somewhere in a dessert with the boy who is always getting in trouble because he brings worms into the classroom.
